Karen is a graduate of the Nordic Yoga Institute where she completed her 200 hours (RYT) as well as supplementary courses in ViryaYoga and therapeutic yoga.
Karen's classes have an emphasis placed on techniques and awareness of the body and breath. Each class will be focused on themes related to philosophy and various poses.
My morning routine: Wake up at 6 am, drink a lot of water, sneak out of a sleeping man and two snoring dogs to teach morning yoga classes, come home and have a big, hearty breakfast followed by a relaxing walk with the dogs in Grünerløkka before the day goes on.
The world needs more of: Awareness about animal welfare and the environment. Not just awareness, but actions that benefit both animals and the environment.
I believe in: Presence of the moment and the importance of practicing regularly.
